Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr.

Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr. served in the Civil War as a first lieutenant in the Twentieth Regiment of Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry. He saw action in several battles, including Fredericksburg, Antietam, and Chancellorsville. He later served as an associate justice on the Supreme Court from 1902 to 1932.
