Perhaps "blue" states should just insist on keeping all their income taxes within their states and let "red" states figure out how to do without us.
But then I also think if every woman in America said "ok, no more sex until women's rights are codified" we would have Roe codified in 30 minutes.
Lack of consequences for bad behavior encourages more bad behavior -- we should certainly all understand that by now!
