It's SO CLEAR that anything that the Trump administration did for blacks was either something that was a byproduct (not actually directed toward blacks) of something else (e.g. the economy) or something completely intended to get votes or soften his image. NONE of it was ever done simply because of Trump's altruism.
One of the most striking moments of the event was when he repeated his blatantly foolish claim to being the best President for the Black community since Abraham Lincoln. You could easily hear the laughter in the background as a group of largely Black journalists processed that one in real time. It boggles the mind that he can say so with a straight face.
I used to interact with a black guy online who thought the stupidest (to the point of being humorous) line that Trump constantly utters is: "I'm the least racist person you'll ever meet".
I guess he means he's racist but not as much as everyone else? LOL...and this guy was President?
