Re: "Pick up the phone." Can it be true that prominent anti-Trump Republicans are waiting petulantly by the phone for a call from Joe before they decide on joining the effort to save democracy? Liz Cheney did not wait for the call; nor did Adam Kinsinger.
It's a really simple choice.If you hate Trump and think he is an existential threat to our democracy, there is only one alternative.( here is looking at you Christie,Haley and Pence) But then party over country.
I can see Haley voters going for Biden especially after Trump said he didn't want them. But I can't see Christie or Pense who are solid Republican helping Biden's campaign.
Well, they both already have helped: Christie by telling it like it is and Pence by saying he would not be voting for Trump--that's huge. I think their showing up a Dem events like the convention would be counter-productive because it would provide Trump and his gang the opportunity to crow about RINO's. I would be very, very surprised if certain people like GW Bush, Dick Cheney etc. aren't talking about what they *will* do.
I agree there concerning Christie and Pence.I think a lot of Haley voters will go back to Trump(the power of todays tribalism) or some write in on their ballots.Hopefully Biden can pick off some Haley voters.I'm interested to see the role Lizz Cheney plays.
