I was thinking that we all often say something with casual violence (To the moon, Alice, to the moon), but the GOP is really beginning to accept a more formal violence, if DeSantis can use that phrasing. It's not exasperation, it's signaling.

Yeah but the reason "To the moon, Alice! To the moon!" was so funny was because Ralph was quelled with a look from Alice.

Like my grandmother, she had him on his toes.

My wife and I were just discussing the fact that domestic violence was a standing joke on teevee when we were younger.
