Was listening to "The Run Up" podcast this morning where they back-to-back interviewed MAGA populists in New Hampsire who were railing against "the donor class" and then interviewed a billionaire donor to Nikki Haley and asked him what he thought of the idea of class warfare within GOP politics and MAGA self-ascribing as a working class revolution within the party against the donor class. I wanted to scream into the audio feed "all of you supposed populists keep giving the donor class you hate more tax breaks!!!" the whole time and the FT quote in Morning Shots today kind of set me off a bit after that pre-listen.
