100% correct. Elected Democrats and most particularly those in leadership, must show voters that they can walk and chew gum at the same time. Of course they must get involved in detention center oversight, while they’re also reminding the American public that the Republicans are attacking their personal economic futures and their very wellbeing. If they can’t then we need to elect new folks to do it.
