Forget being in Gaza, how would they function with the ordinary stresses of legal practice? Back when I did criminal defense (which I should note in fairness, is a bit rougher than many other practices of law) if your client got picked up at 3 in the morning for a probation violation and wanted his lawyer for the interrogation, well, you get up in the middle of the night, throw on a suit, and try not to be too bleary-eyed when you're representing him. Oh, and you'll be spending a lot of time in prisons with various unsavory people.
Grow a thick skin or get out. And if you can't function with some sleep deprivation, you really cannot be an attorney.
