Today's my day for stories. It is said that when Adam and Eve were removed from the Garden, the animals were polled and only the Dog said he would accompany them. He won God's eternal pleasure for putting himself at such risk while showing Man what LOVE and LOYALTY truly MEAN. Of course we don't deserve dogs! But I thank my God for them every. single. day.

I'm so sorry to hear of Pete's passing. I'm glad his last day was filled with his favorite things and people.
So sorry you lost Pete. Even though he had a good run, they are family members and it is hard to lose them. RIP Pete.
I am very sorry for your loss, but glad that Pete was able to enjoy that sausage biscuit. He sounds like he was wonderful. We don't deserve dogs.
