This reminds me of 2020 when a California female legislator was told she couldn't vote by proxy because her recent labor and delivery didn't make her more at risk from Covid than anyone else. She appeared on the Assembly Floor with her 4 week old baby and stayed past midnight because it was the end of the legislative session for the year.
Hopefully she was breastfeeding and didn't use one of those silly modesty capes. Tough titties (pun intended) if it made the male legislators "uncomfortable."
