This was recently in the news:

A Thai appeal court on Thursday extended a man’s prison sentence to a record 50 years for insulting the monarchy, in what is believed to be the toughest penalty ever imposed under the country’s draconian lese majeste law, according to a legal rights group.

The would be Orange 'Julius' Caesar reads about the workings of the Thai government and salivates! If only MAGA America could be so inspired to enact such laws, life would be bearable once again, and we would not be living in a sh*thole country. I understand that Singapore also has a few interesting laws that we could adopt.

It’s only “the law” in America if enough people care enough to object. The problem is that Trump and the clever racists that are using him are just waiting for an excuse to declare martial law and deploy the military against American citizens and everyone else in the streets. Then it will be decades before democracy again raises its head in the land of the free.
