Not sure if I'd point to the Washington Commanders stadium deal as a "not bad" subsidy (Neil deMause, a "sports economics" journalist, estimates it'll cost ~$6.6 BILLION). But anyway, all of these film industry subsidies are dumb, and I'm sort of glad that perhaps the state of Georgia is learning that the hard way. Makes no sense when you realize the state is spending tens/hundreds of thousands of dollars to create a single job.
