The NRA used to speak of the “ slippery slope of gun regulations “ in which the government would come to take your guns. Now we have Republican legislators going down the slippery slope of providing guns to everyone. When they have laws allowing people 21 years to purchase and carry weapons in public, they then have to extend the privilege to 18 year old kids. Why stop there! We should allow any high school student to carry a weapon to school in the interest of safety. No laws or regulations can stop the violence, only more guns. Kentucky law says guns recovered from crime scenes have to be auctioned off to the public to ensure the supply continues to grow.
