Agreed. I'm not religious; however, that doesn't mean I don't "pray". Generally speaking, prayer in this context is an internal dialog that is generally requesting myself to have courage, or clarity of mind, to solve some problem with the resources I have. What it is not is me asking someone else to solve my problems. Doing so would be wishful thinking and wishful thinking has never solved any problems.

Well put. Asking God to fix this for me is completely different from asking God to guide me to where I can best do something about it.
