Hi. I was referring to someone saying that DeSantis wasn't removing all the books in classroom libraries, he was just removing them to be vetted. The government-approved books then can be in classroom libraries.
The argument I've heard in The Bulwark is that DeSantis is bad, but if they were voting in a Republican primary, and their vote were actually consequential, they would vote for DeSantis over Trump. I think they've made this argument due to pressure from the likes of Rich Loury, who say they prefer DeSantis over Trump, so the Never Trumpers have to meet them half way and support DeSantis over Trump, too. I see it as a false choice, though.
