I started this pod yesterday but had to stop it at the point where Alyssa said "spoiler alert" so I could go see the movie before I finished the pod. I saw the movie this afternoon. I can't even address the finer points of your discussion because I left the movie feeling the same way I did when I saw the J6 insurrectionists invade our capitol. I have yet to shake that feeling.
One point I can agree with, though, is that it is a good thing that neither side is defined by its politics nor is the genesis of the conflict defined. In the end, they are all the same and it is not good.
Not a feel-good movie but definitely one everyone should see.
