OK, I understand that most of the Bulwark are former Republicans looking for a rebirth of their party. And I also understand caution in predicting anything political these days, after the polling fiascos since 2016. But reading the short takes from Tim, Sarah, Bill, Amanda and Jim, one could think that there was no point in even holding a real election in the Fall; TFG's Establishment has had its say, that is all she wrote. (OK, JVL is going to swing for the fences with Fetterman, but that is to be expected.) Perhaps I am asking too much, seeking a balanced view of what last night brought us on the way to November.
"OK, I understand that most of the Bulwark are former Republicans looking for a rebirth of their party." Wow, that latter part has not been my impression. Most of those at Bulwark seem to have given up completely on the GOP. My point is there is going to be a conservative political party in the United States. I'm a conservative. I'm not going to leave the GOP to some Trump yahoos. It's as much my party as theirs.
