Antifa relies on its local geography where it VASTLY outnumbers the MAGA goons who come in to win in the street violence world. It was my understanding that trump was hoping for left-wing counterprotestors / Antifa to show up on 1/6 so that he could invoke the insurrection act and martial law, and that those groups stayed away for that reason.
And what would happen if he invoked the insurrection act? The Oath Keepers with the guns across the river woulda went open-carry mid-insurrection and they woulda been shot to death by the FBI's HRT. I woulda been happy with that outcome to be perfectly honest. They want their armed showdown with federal law enforcement? I am HAPPY to give it to them if they try that stupidity.
