I can't imagine dropping my kid off at school every day and trusting someone else to take care of them if ICE comes knocking. That must be truly terrifying.
On another note, some school funding often depends on attendance. If parents are regularly keeping their kids out of school those districts get hurt in the end. I'm not saying it's the most concerning aspect of these stories. I *am* saying we all suffer from this nonsense in the end.
