Biden needs to pardon the two remaining defendants and order Garland to release both reports immediately. Trump will pardon them on day one and kill the reports forever. Play hardball with him.
I agree, Biden should just release the damn reports. It is ridiculous that we're f'n with this right now, as this is a no brainer.
I don't agree that he should pardon the co-conspirators. Granted, they're just peons who did what they were told and (likely) didn't understand the scope of what they were doing, but it's not Biden's problem. Leave it for DJT to clean up his own mess.
Not to mention that they don't need to accept a pardon from Biden. His pardoning them doesn't clear the ongoing case. The DOJ, however, could dismiss the case. Same effect, but there's no longer an obstacle to releasing the report.
They withdrew the case against Trump without prejudice. Why they are pretending the day after the inauguration of Trump will be just like the day before it is mind boggling. Just drop the charges and put the actual facts out there.
