You are 100% right. The world will never put their trust in the US again. Trump is just symptom of the growing and devastating cancer that is right wing (Fox) media. They used all the theory developed by marketers over the years (MBA Marketing degree here) to sell us a right wing pack of lies to the easily manipulated (Religious). They used racism and resesentments and a dangled a dream world of white supremacy. The result was the game show carnival Barker who became president. (Add a dash of the supreme manipulator Putin.) And here we are.

The US is not a Christian Nation. Several of the Founding Fathers were frustrated by the "Christian" groups taking over. The religious groups who came to America to find freedom from a "national" religion forced on people.
If this were not so, the steady hand of the Biden Administration that we decisively voted for, would have led us out of the hole and back to normal. But somehow people went back to the chaos.
