I'm cool with letting POLICY go thru, to let MAGA voters experience the consequences. But there must be a way to fight the restructuring of the government itself. If there is anything Dems can do to assert congressional power opposing Trump/Musk/Patel et illegal acts, that's the hill to die on. If Trump et al succeed in creating an authoritarian presidency, it will not matter who controls Congress, nor will it matter what the voters actually want.
Totally agree…gutting our government and blatant authoritarianism should be fought at every turn - and they should be LOUD about the impacts on middle America, but helping MAGA pass any legislation would be a mistake because the republicans will just hang the fallout from THEIR policies around the Dems…as history has shown us.
