But seriously, Bill Kristol's comments today are admirable! I liked that Al Green was doing this in the tradition of the Civil Rights Movement protestors of yore (60--70 years ago)... "we know we're breaking the 'rules' (maybe the law) and are willing to be appropriately punished for our actions". It takes real guts and deep conviction to say that and follow through on the words with action (e.g. I rather suspect I would chicken out unless the stakes were really high). Also Rep. Green voted "Present" on his own censure vote, i.e. he didn't vote against it when he easily could have. Respect!
