Not following you. You're saying with 52 (lets say) senators the Republicans will somehow just remove democratic senators, vote to convict and that will be that? I don't see it happening that way. If our system is so far gone that that is possible and the executive and military goes along with it, we're doomed no matter what.
Takes 2/3 in the senate to convict. Republicans are nowhere close to getting that many seats.
