As a member of one of "the groups" (LGBTQ people), it's tiring watching the straight, white people say we should throw the advocacy groups under the bus.

The ACLU questionnaire is on point. I don't care that you straight, white, cisgender people think it's a good idea to go all Chris Murphy on a vulnerable community.

Look what the Republicans are doing. Why are they succeeding? They don't back down.

Democrats need a thicker skin against people like the Bulwark who are feeling guilty because they enabled Trump and they want to turn the Democrats into a "Republican-Lite" now that Donald Trump kicked them out. You didn't fight for your own party when you had the chance - don't try and stage a hostile takeover on ours.

You weren’t paying attention, they were fighting their party—but they were rejected for those wanting Trumpland promises. Would you rather have them as allies (with inside knowledge) or just waste the resource out of a fit of pique? Why are you reading the Bulwark in the first place, they are pretty clear who they are, or do you just want to hurl insults?

And as a straight white person who has spent her life of 60+ years fighting for your rights, including as a lawyer, maybe you should consider finding a better way to deal with your anger, as legitimate as it is. It can destroy your soul. You are worth more anger that is driving you.

You would rather be right than win elections.

I suspect Larry has a different understanding of winning than you do.
