"They abandoned the working class" - I'm so tired of the old folks saying this on The Bulwark when it's simply not true. An actual abandonment of the working class is Trump's policies. Just cause you market it as being for them doesn't mean they are. Harris 100% was working class focused policies, but people don't care about policies they care about having their feelings and views reinforced.
I will say I found this comment hilarious, by the way, when you said it and didn't think it even justified a response when you did it and made a note to come back after some time to comment specifically. You just assumed I wasn't an "actual working class voter" but I'm literally a high school diploma wielding factory worker. How much more working class can you get? The majority of them may have disagreed but that doesn't mean they were right because, historically, they're also poorly educated voters (trust me, I know. I've worked with these dummies for years). So... how are those "actual working class voters" opinions looking now over 6 months in? Think they made the right choice now?
