Apparently there are multiple reports of Hunter attending White House political meetings (not family meetings). It doesn't really matter which meetings he's attending, he shouldn't be within 1000 feet of the White House right now if he cares anything about his father. I mean it's not the biggest issue in the world, but it's just another point that contributes to the impression that Joe is shutting out everyone but his closest circle of advisors and family members, instead of reaching out to prominent Democrats and convincing them he is still up to the job.
I guess we'll agree to disagree on this one. I too admire Joe for sticking with his son and supporting him, and I agree Hunter can support his father, I just think politically it looks really bad for Hunter to be seen as an advisor to the president, there are other ways to provide support.
To be fair, having Hunter involved in high-level discussions right now is politically indefensible.
