I’m sure I’ll be able to appreciate this kind of punditry tomorrow. But I and people around the country have spent hours and hours calling people, registering new voters, and writing postcards until our hands were cramped. Can we enjoy the fruits of our labor for one goddamn day before reading about how “Trump won”?
I’m sure you have some legitimate insights here. I understand that you’re scared about Trump winning. I’m petrified. I get it. I’ll think about all of that tomorrow. But today, just for today, can you let us be slightly hopeful about the future? Thanks.
Yeah you need to do a better job of editing yourself sometimes - or find people to keep you in check. It's not a matter of pulling punches when you have true insight into something... Just "could this be legitimately interpreted purely as audience-trolling click-bait?" It seems like a fair standard to maybe not publish if the answer to that question is "quite probably yes"
