I had such high hopes for Nancy Mace. But maybe she is the next Elise Stafanek. She also makes no sense: If Biden can't find his pants, then she'd have to admit that members of her party don't even know what pants are.

I don't know what happened to that poor woman. I thought she might have something to her, but I guess it's all just debasement to the party at this point.

I suspect she is only reasonable on abortion. Probably because she was sexually asaulted, so it affected her personally. Being concerned about anything that does not immediately affect her is likely beyond her capacity.

Yep, you nailed it. Conservatives only get on board the Compassion Train when they themselves (or a loved one) is affected. They lack empathy.
