I’m glad to know my dad wasn’t uniquely stupid. He also confessed that after borrowing the family car, he would drive all the way home in reverse, because his dad charged him mileage, and the odometers back then ran backwards.

My dad said lighting farts was the “in” thing to do when he was in college back in the 1930s. Goes to show kids are dumb no matter what the era.
