We are disgusting and I am embarrassed to be a white American! The cruelty is appalling!

"Trump’s immigration record: avoiding the larger concept of deportation and instead focusing on the brutality and harshness of Trump’s methods." Worst is yet to come. Donald "The Beast" Trump is building a wall once again. Colossal tariff wall that is the beginning of the end for the system of down. At first the beast will pull the plug out of the global economy. The worst financial crisis of human history will pull a swarm of the banks underwater and the bank run begins. Then the beast will collapse a mountain of debt shattering the backbone of the monetary system causing a systemic risk to realize. Finally the beast will cast American citizens into a system slavery under the name of Ronald Wilson Reagan, just to "honor his legacy" count the number. After the destruction a new world order will be established in the US. And the Golden Age begins from the ruins of the world wide collapse. All of the system slaves will love it. No more cash - just digital transactions. No more traditional criminal activity. No more tax evasion. No more transactions without the "all seeing eye". Outcasts will hate the world without freedom, hope and privacy. To cover up the mess and distract the public by smoke and mirrors, the beast will engage in a war with Iran. Lies and deceit, corruption and decay, dancing on the graves will continue. Until; Black hole sun, won't you come, won't you come... I want to play a game. Time has come to opt out of the empire of filth. Live or die...

Yes please. More resistance. Constant resistance. Steady pressure. The reports of conditions are disgusting. I understand Larry Wegrzyn's concerns that Republicans are controlling anything, but we can't let what seems like the futility of our actions stop the resistance. It will turn a ship albeit so so slowly, sometimes it seems like it isn't moving. It will. It has to.

It doesn't matter what 39 Dems in the House want - the House Judicial Committee is controlled by Insurrectionist Jordan - and the Federalist Society is protecting him and his inaction. This includes many other Congressional insurrectionists and the corrupt SCOTUS- funded by Leonard Leo (protected by Jordan) and supported by the fraternity of unethical Federalist Society Lawyers. If our lawyers don't care about freedom, the Constitution or the letter of the law - Trump wins and can replace democracy and its freedoms with the Russian style of fascism/communism.

Thanks for asking for that Karen. I'd like to know if those representing me are push back.

Can we access the letter they sent to DHS? I want to see the names of the Dems who signed (and therefore see who did not).

I guess strongly worded letters are one of the dems only tools as the minority party. But they seem to be performative and weak.

I write/call every Democrat member of Congress when a bill/confirmation happens and they have supported the action. It would be helpful if your articles included a full list of how Congress members vote.

agree with Conor that moral claim is superior to political claim. " moral case is that imprisoning someone without due process is a larger violation of rights and is downright cruel.... political case is Americans in part voted for Trump because he promised deportations"

Couldn’t agree more with Denise. Although I am gratified for any and all pushback my party offers to this administration’s lawlessness, I am befuddled as to why only 39 of 213 Democratic Representatives signed this important request.

We had a child in the hospital for ten days. He screamed when the stent needles were inserted, re-inserted, had to be done several times a day as his veins kept collapsing and a new vein had to be found. He needed his mother!!! Sickens me that the cancer-stricken child of the legal citizen was denied his mother. WHO CHANGED THE LAW? Wives of citizens used to be granted citizenship, true for decades. Why was the wife of a citizen being shipped out? Glad so many in Congress were brave enough to sign the letter.
