What exactly does the playground racist need $785,000 for? Court costs (for what I'm sure is the equivalent of a civil misdemeanor)? Lost income? Plastic surgery to hide her shame? People gave her money because a video of her calling a child the n-word in public? This just adds to the sense of cognitive dissonance ongoing in the Trump 2.0 regime.

The cult cry of "It's the end of the world! Repent! Follow me without question!" And the red MAGA sheep move in, bleating in unison, to worship him. Pathetic. Check out the West Point commencement address. He's demented.

What we are really facing is the extinction of truth and the country unless we stick together and don't give up. The damage will have been done but we need to rebuild this nation stronger after the dust settles. It's the least we (I'm 66) can do for the next generations.

Glad to hear that the next would be racist failed to cash in. And yes I’ve noticed that racists are usually wildly antisemitic too.

"The situation was made worse when Rachlin’s extremely antisemitic erstwhile allies realized that he’s Jewish."

This is just the Chappelle's Show Clayton Bigsby sketch now.

So this is the type of heavyweight thinker Tucker is interviewing these days. Remember when Tucker was considered extremely influential in right wing circles?

Oh boy, Will has found another rabbit hole for me to dive into. Are these folks in it for the yucks or true believers? And if it’s true, yet something else DOGE overlooked. 🤣

MAGA is drowning in a sea of grift. I wonder if they will come up for air. I doubt it.

Grift and conspiracy theories, evidently. We have a large portion of society that is morally and mentally truly sick.

I'm curious...

What happens if a Chinese or Russian nuke sub parks in the waters off our shores and launches its attack underneath Trump's Golden Dome?

First heard about the poles switching when I was 12. That was 60 years ago. My father gave me a little book to read about it and asked me to read it and tell him what was wrong with it. After that we both had a good laugh about it. And no you can’t dig a shelter deep enough to avoid having it ripped apart.

I love Science Fiction. And I can see Obama getting enjoyment from ‘Three Body’. If you live in existential fear of real catastrophe all the time it really does make everything else seem small.

If it is an EXTINCTION event then there isn't any place for humans to go, above or below ground. It's in the name of the event...no?

Of course some smaller creatures, possibly single celled will likely adapt, but big old needy people seem the least likely to avoid extinction.

I’m curious how these ‘busy-leading-and-serving-the-public’ people have time to watch TV and read science fiction dystopian crap? Have they found a way to stay on top of their jobs and entertain themselves all at once? Speed reading? Delegation of ‘trivial matter’? Skipping the boring stuff? Promoting themselves despite their inadequacy? Conspiracy theories are time-consuming. Ignoring popular press? Not keeping up with science? Skipping important stuff to doom-scroll? Dancing to their own music? I’m pretty sure they have way too much time on their hands because they aren’t taking care of the business they ran to do and were hired for.

The Earth is undergoing a sixth major extinction event, and the first extinction event in Earth history caused by a form of life (note: all others were caused by geological or astrophysical events, such as volcanic eruptions and asteroid strikes.
