I think that Sonny, Alyssa, and Peter are ignoring an important reason that people aren't going to movie theaters as often as before. Many of us who love movies have invested in a home theater. Watching a movie at home is not merely more convenient and cheaper. It's also better.
I'm not talking about a fancy dedicated home theater with several rows of seats. I'm thinking about a modest investment in a large screen TV with a surround sound system in a multi-purpose room, like a family room or an office, that can comfortably sit 3 to 5 people. With a 4K UHD disk, the picture is better than in a movie theater, and you always have a great seat. The sound is better than in a movie theater, and you can adjust the level the way you like; from whisper quiet with closed captions on (the way my wife likes it) to shake the room and scare the grandkids loud (that would be my setting). And as movies stretch to 2-1/2 hours and beyond, the ability to pause for 5 minutes for snacks or whatever is priceless. You can frequently buy a 4K UHD disk for less than than the price of a single ticket at a theater, and on Black Friday, you can buy two.
There has to be a very special reason to choose something different than better and cheaper.
Seen it twice now. Even better the second time
Black Bag I mean

I saw black bag on Friday afternoon and there was many people in my theater and I was happy to see it. It was a great movie
I completely agree with the idea that the films of 1995 were better than we have got, and are likely to get, this year.
A big part is that the scripts* were just simply better. The cinematography was simply better. Crimson Tide is a great example of both.
*the scripts were subject to re-writes and reshoots too. They just still had a solid script structure. Tarantino even did Crimson Tide re-writes.
