Good afternoon and welcome to Press Pass. Are you a Bulwark+ subscriber yet? If not, you're missing out on paywalled editions of this newsletter—like today’s—as well as ad-free podcasts, and more.

Today’s Press Pass takes a look at how House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) has toned down the potential impact of his committee’s big witness who went missing, later revealed to have been indicted for arms trafficking, acting as an unregistered foreign agent, and violating Iran sanctions. We also look at an eye-catching campaign donation to Florida Sen. Rick Scott, and more.
