I'll review it before it hits Netflix since that's when most people are going to see it. I generally find there to be little point in reviewing things that most people won't be able to see for some time. It's why I don't bother with festivals.

I get it - just seems odd a film so likely to get nominated wasn't seen before you cast an opinion.

Well that’s kind of my point in that episode: I won’t see Hamnet for a while either! It’s why I don’t love the whole “guess the nominations” portion of Oscar prognosticating.

For me it gets no better than, “Heist.” Delroy Lindo and Gene Hackman together with a stellar cast is a delicious treat and masterclass of storytelling and acting.
