I'll review it before it hits Netflix since that's when most people are going to see it. I generally find there to be little point in reviewing things that most people won't be able to see for some time. It's why I don't bother with festivals.
Well that’s kind of my point in that episode: I won’t see Hamnet for a while either! It’s why I don’t love the whole “guess the nominations” portion of Oscar prognosticating.
For me it gets no better than, “Heist.” Delroy Lindo and Gene Hackman together with a stellar cast is a delicious treat and masterclass of storytelling and acting.

Heist would be my pick also. Sonny, when are we going to get to see the “Network” movie club?
That ended up gettting tabled for reasons beyond my control, but I will have a NETWORK podcast coming in a couple weeks. Just lining up the guest now.
+1. He stole Sinners.
✨Manifesting Amy Madigan and Delroy Lindo nominations✨
Also, I think Ryan Coogler getting a Best Screenplay nomination, and yeah, I’ll say it, a win is a good bet.
What’s the movie club assignment this week?
Coming in my newsletter! It’s a fun one this week.
