Thank you, Jill! This is the kind of good news we've been waiting for. IMO, If folks have a chance to vote for this kind of 314 caliber human being, I think they may finally turn their backs on Trump anti-everything-ism. Anti all that is sane, rational and sound. It won't be long before people have had a bellyful. And want to elect the sorts of people whose careers have revolved around helping people live. Thank god these kinds of people are willing to step up. And I expect many fired former government employees will also find their way into a run for office, in time. They served their country once, and may wish to serve again.
It is my fervent hope that Dr. Acton pulverized Ramaswamy and ends his political career. Although, Politico did a demolition job on her and I would expect another one before the election.

This is encouraging; however, as we know being a physician or engineer doesn't make one immune to the MAGA mind virus. In fact, there's sufficient numbers out there to lend flaky credibility to all matters MAGA/MAHA. I've spent long years of my technical career swimming upstream of folks who in STEM fields, yet are driven by minds that are highly susceptible to MAGA style thinking.
This story is quintessentially Bulwarkian. We need more legislators grounded in the Sciences.(not Tech!) We need to hear from Shaughnessy on one of the pods.
