I wish you had provided a little more detail about Bovino's interview with Briezh-Info, which was chilling. I hadn't heard of this site before but apparently it is very, very far to the right and less than strict when it comes to the facts. Perfect choice for Bovino, but concerning nonetheless for Europe.

I would like to see more about the connection between Bovino, Stephen Millet, and JD Vance. As long as especially Miller remains a power in the White House the push to deport all migrants of color will remain in savage high gear.

The Bulwark community spends a lot of time considering how to handle these cretins on the other side. I've often thought de-Nazification in Germany after WWII was the roadmap. But look how strong AfD is. I guess one can outlaw an actual group or organization, or label them a threat, but a bit more difficult to outlaw personalities, thoughts, and amorality.
As JVL often points out, it's the asymmetry of fighting illiberalism with liberal ideals. Whoever figures it out should win a Nobel Peace Prize.

It engages in a barrage of visual and verbal symbolism that might be meant deliberately as a form of Illiberalism or insult, it might be a dog whistle intended to evoke a hostile sentiment without being explicit, it might be trolling, or it might just be inadvertent.
The culture encourages proficiency in abstract messages that work at multiple levels. There’s a lot of group cohesion inherent in being able to express hate and bigotry while simultaneously treating critics with condescension and derision.
