I have to hand it to will for diving into this stuff, I had no idea a lot of this stuff was happening and what these maniacs spend there time obsessing over. It seems like it boils down to which one of them can out hate the others and then take on the road to gullible enough to believe it. Appreciate Will's resolve in having to contend with this garbage.

My pardon money's on Gislain Maxwell, after the midterms. Unless the Epstein files finally come out, in which case all bets are off.

Honestly, I don’t know how you keep track of all the people involved in these machinations, and their wives and cousins and exes….good lord! Does your office have multicolored yarn strewn map like walls by any chance? Because that is the only way I can come up with to keep all of the relationships and links from getting lost in the morass.

Fuentes video statement following the yesterday’s blue wave was truly chilling. Dismissing him as just a crazy right winger is a mistake. Hearing Will’s take on it would be appreciated.

The right has always been antisemitic, see Pat Buchanan and Bill Buckley, who a professor of mine described as a polite antisemite, this is what makes them so charming. Will, you are too kind to Heritage, its status as a center right organization has long past and I am not saying over the last decade.

So, did the MAGA Congressman say “I don’t work with antisemites”on his way to lunch with MTG, or on his way to a fundraiser for Trump hosted by Kanye West? Inquiring minds are in tears crawling on the ground trying to pick up the pieces of their shattered irony meters.

Another excellent Will Sommer insight into the depths so that we can avoid the nasally drip drip drip out of Ben Shapiro! The thing I still can't really comprehend is the size and reach of all of this. I know it's widespread and a lot of people are intimately involved in this realm - but how many people? Having all of zero interest or connection with that world or people in it, I'm woefully ignorant of just how far this rhetoric goes.

when you spend a decade normalizing bigotry and hatred such that it becomes the only consistent element of your party, and succeed in doing so to the extent that it now occupies all levels of government and of our culture, it was only ever going to be a matter of time before they turned their pitchforks on you. i do not have any sympathy for shapiro, and i take satisfaction in seeing him realize that he has contributed hugely to the growing antisemitism on the right through his rhetoric of hate. that’s why we say that fighting for the rights of one minority is fighting for the rights of all vulnerable persons. i also think it’s worth noting that he has never seemed to care about the fervent antisemitism on the right before the maga base started turning on israel (just see his tweets about ann coulter’s anti-jewish hate speech a few years ago, where he said it did not matter since she was pro-israel). once again, “i voted for the leopards eating people faces party, but i didn’t think the leopards would eat MY face” — you made your bed, ben. lie in it.

"...27-year-old girlfriend, calling her a “country music sensation who has done more for this nation than most will in ten lifetimes.”

A.I. offers this:

Contemporary sensations

~ Morgan Wallen: Frequently mentioned as a top male country artist in recent years.

~ Carrie Underwood: A powerful vocalist known for her empowering songs like "The Champion".

~ Luke Bryan: A consistent presence at the top of country music charts.

~ Morgan Myles: A modern powerhouse with a wide vocal range, noted as a truth-teller and artist of experience and grace.

~ Hannah Dasher: An example of an artist who has gained a significant following on platforms like Tok-tok.

Since I know little about Country Music, I'm not sure which of the above Kash may be referring to. But according to a People magazine interview, she shared her first impression of Patel, explaining that she liked that he was "so honest."

I suggest that such honesty extends only to swapping spit, and not the misuse of government property.

Have there been any tell all books emerging from right wing think tanks? Seems like an overripe idea for someone looking to stir the pot for fame and fortune.

Would Mr. Roberts like to elucidate for us just which of Fuentes' beliefs he abhors? Is it the right of any man to rape any woman he pleases? To limit women to the home and sexual servitude? Is it white supremacy, and the belief that non-whites are inferior to whites on every level? Is it his devotion to the canon of Adolph Hitler, his admiration of the Third Reich (did he design Gregory Bovino's SS wardrobe?)? His election denial, his advice to assassinate folks who don't agree with you, especially electeds? Which, Mr. Roberts?? And why not abhor all of them?

I listened to Ben Shapiro regularly until after Senate Republicans declined to bar Trump from office in February 2021. Shapiro didn't exactly defend the vote, but he said that Trump is in the past, and conservatives should focus on future. I'm pretty sure Shapiro is smarter than me, but I immediately understood that what Shapiro was saying was delusional. In failing to condemn Trump even after Jan. 6th, Republicans had effectively pledged their unconditional support for Trump. Trump was their future. Their only future. Ben Shapiro didn't understand the movement he was a part of. Is he maybe figuring it out now?

I sat through the Shapiro thing….the hideous hate-filled stupidity of Fuentes is reminiscent of unhinged folk ranting in the subway while passengers yearn to reach the next stop and escape. I did kind of smirk when Fuentes attacked Vance for his Indian wife and Thiele for being gay. Cockroaches attacking other cockroaches…
