Thank you for a great review. As a student of history, I was concerned this movie might miss the more nuanced aspects of the time in which the incident occurred. Leave it to Ridley Scott to leave the historical aspects in place while also tackling modern mores and norms. I'm looking forward to watching this on the big screen. It will be the first movie I've seen in theatres since Christmas Day 2019.
I think it's actually a pretty good name, IF you emphasize the action in the ad campaign. Like "shit got so crazy they had to end a whole system of jurisprudence in response!"

Can we also talk about how bad the name of the movie is? I mean the marketing started from the beginning.

Maybe I am just too literal, I mean Scott directed "The Duellists" which takes place later historically
He also suggested the Roman Republic was restored at the end of GLADIATOR!
