It's as plain as day what President Maniac has in mind he's not even being subtle about it. Take over Democrat cities with the military parked there throughout on some bs pretense. Midterms come around and the military is still there intimidating voters and causing chaos all in the phony nonsense of protecting the integrity of the ballot. Everything they accuse Dems of doing is what they are actually doing right in front of faces.Corrupting the system from within, I've been seeing what Bondi was doing at the hearing recently and she wouldn't answer one simple question without personal attacks on the senators. There all corrupt and it's so galling that there getting away with it.

Our flag officers have to decide. Do you want to be us or them.

I was conflicted when I clicked "Like." I hate all of this. Because it scares me to death. He is an out-of-control monster and you have, once again, made me stare him in the face. And now I will watch the video. God help us (as some of us try to help ourselves).

The quotes from the speech are really alarming and appalling. I'm motivated to read the transcript of the speech, just to see if it's as bad as it sounds.

There are so many ways in which the current incompetent administration is totally misunderstanding the world, it makes it difficult to believe that they are actually adults who have survived on this planet as long as they have.

One of the ways America has always remained prosperous is to use tax money to develop and then sell very expensive military equipment. It takes decades and billions to make faster fighter planes, stealth bombers, and huge aircraft carriers that project strength all over the world. We will be selling some of these weapons to NATO countries to give to Ukraine. Using those technologies, we lost to the Houthis.

But Trump and Hegseth have learned about fighting wars from watching superhero movies, as well as WWII dramas.

The Israelis can win their war with bombers and tanks because the Palestinians don’t have many weapons at all, so it’s very one-sided.

The other BIG fact about having a war in the 21st century is that they don’t accomplish anything. At best, they lead to another war. Usually, as we can see, they drag on, kill many innocent people, create millions of refugees, create many new problems, and solve none.

I think the future will count this as one of the greatest blunders of the Trump era in terms of actually realizing his intentions. The record of Nazism was one of incrementalism, with each intrusion/outrage building only slighter on the previous one. Here, Trump lays it all out. It's as though Hitler did a presentation of the plans for ovens and gas chambers in 1932.

The frog just got dumped into boiling water.

Yet how many of those people, knowing what they saw, would vote for Trump again, if given the chance?

This meeting was exactly what I expected and have already commented, the military was put on notice that they would be deployed against Trumps enemy: the American people. These deployments will be training maneuvers to ready the military both procedurally and morally to suppress resistance when MAGA steals the 2026 and 2928 elections.

Was there any thunderous applause anytime during the speech or at the end? I wasn't there so as to read the room, what was it like.

We need to get together the people organizing protest marches and military strategist masterminds to organize the taking back of our cities, states and country! Let’s put some teeth in our movement!

Three and a third more years. And then what?!? He tried to remain in power last time with a ragtag army; will he have any backing in 2028 from the real thing?

ahh....yes. They're back to talking about how Russia and the first impeachment over "impounding" aid to Ukraine for political dirt on an opponent we're actually witch hunts that robbed him of a fair shot at his first Administration

Maybe these behaviors will be enough for some MAGA to see reality to vote against those in power who could step in but choose to allow it to continue.

Sadly, it will be a corrupt SCOTUS ultimately determining the “lawfulness” of orders. The stage is being set for “Kent State”-like scenarios across the land, but largely in major, blue-led cities.

I could only stomach a short bit of this. This is where the country is going. A war on the cities, a war on the opposition. We still wonder: Will there be 2026 midterms? And if they are, under what conditions? Under arms? Soldiers posted at polling places, intimidating voters? The permission structure has now been set down.

My answer is twofold:

1) We the people have a say and it better be loud but peaceful on the streets in huge numbers.

2) I’m with the Professor
