Governor, you need to understand: success with the Great Khan lies in NEVER talking about the Great Khan. Get it?

Interesting how one likes to “pontificate” about the “irrelevance” of boomers when one cannot even get the facts straight. Yes, RBG should have voluntarily left, though the monk feels that her “motivation” is just being human: not wanting to let go… Still, it would have been better if she had voluntarily left.

The many informed comments indicated that many of the named politicians, factually, are older than the boomers? Regardless, age can affect people differently.

Indeed, the monk finds that many folks, younger than the boomers, just don’t “get it”, in the monk’s humble opinion. Lots of “whining…”. Yes, some younger folks do have wisdom…like that of some of the boomers. 🙂

The monk is also “guessing” that many of the folks who “like” the pontifical post don’t know what hunger is, like many of the boomers. One can see many perspectives, when one knows hunger, in the monk’s humble opinion.

Peace. 🙏

News today was Pritzker's announcement on austism? Like the Pritzker Khanate poster for invading Minnesota. Thanks too Lauren Egan for finding it. That we keep adding to our list of good choices who might run for Prez is great. When the count stays high, and the scarier they all look, the harder it is harder for for the Maga Repubs to focus on just one target enemy.

Dems have a deep bench for 28. This will be interesting. Shapiro, Buttigieg, Whitmer, Moore, Pritzger. Who else?

I was trying to think about which Republicans will run. Vance, Youngkin, maybe Kemp?

Anyone who thinks that one can embrace the persona of Genghis Khan is full of oneself, in the monk’s very humble opinion.

Genghis was a nomad warrior who was “harsh”, clearly not an “overweight” person who cannot controls one’s diet and wants to give “handouts”.

This monk lives the life of “a simple man”, is happy, and “knows hunger”.

Not the “left way”. Lean left ok.

Not the “right way”. Lean right ok.

The Middle Way.

We are all in this together. 🙏

I have often thought that Pritzker has what it takes to clean up this mess!

The Pritzker stuff is great! I hope in the not too distant future to never have to read/listen about or to Biden again. It's such a dead horse... The only funny thing if you want to call it that, is the Trump Administration claiming this is the Biden economy..

Can't blame it ALL on Joe! But I don't think he's doing Dems or himself any good going on a rehab tour. He floundered so badly in '24, and Dems are still not sure which way or who to turn to. All Joe does is bring up a past we'd all sooner forget, and move on from. Same with Kamala and Tim! Time's up for rehashing - MOVE ON DEMS!

I wish Biden would stay away. It's too late for him, and he needs to learn when to walk away. There is NO WAY any positive press is coming his way when he say he has no regrets! My God, man! GO! GET OUT! And I was all in for Biden until June 27, 2024. Now he's the reason we have Trump and a country leaning into autocracy.

The "memification" (I just made that word up) of Pritzker portends a potential bridging of whatever is left of 'trad dems" and basically everybody everybody else left of the much-mystified holy grail "center" in this country. Folks are lost, wandering in the desert searching for truth (sorry-it allegory day but y'all started it), meaning and a new leader to follow. If Priztker can mend the wounds and bring everybody together I'm all for it. He's smart, tough, and apparently very capable leading. There is going to be a huge amount of work to be done rebuilding this country from its smoking ruins once Trump has fininshed "having his way with" Ms. Liberty.

I tried to watch Biden's BBC interview. Flashbacks to June 27, 2024. I couldn't.

I watched him on The View this morning. Someone needs to tell him "thank you for everything, now it's time to stop speaking in public, especially in front of cameras".

Interesting how the anti-billionaires wing of the Democratic Party immediately pipes down when Governor Pritzker is the topic of conversation. I don't mean that as a criticism: I think that they're showing rare good sense, and it's absolutely worth the cognitive dissonance. I'd rather that they were consistent in THAT across the board, but being occasionally right is better than being consistently wrong. Attacking people because of what they own rather than because of what they believe and do and because of the policies they pursue is consistently wrong, divisive and a stupid hill to die on: American voters don't HATE the rich, they dream of BEING the rich. I only hope that the good sense shown to Pritzker spreads in Democratic circles.
