As a recent newcomer delving into politics after seeing that Trump has shown his true ruthless side shows that he really doesn’t want to rid our country of all immigrants and has let one of the worst back into our United States of America. Hope you will stay on this story please!

This obviously clears up all those "Russia, Russia, Russia" hoaxes that were Democrat lies about Russia helping Trump. Nothing to see here, folks. Pay no attention to the traitors behind the curtain. O' MAGA! Making America Gullible Again (and like never before in 250 years.)

All roads lead to Putin! And Trump is happy to help him compromise our democracy, social cohesion and alliances.

Apart from the immigrant hypocrisy, does anyone need any more proof that this administration is a group Kremlin pawn? Good flipping grief. I'm old enough to remember the Evil Empire of the Reagan years, (and despite my differences with Reagan, he was absolutely correct on the Sovs/Russia) and this administration, this party, is one which no Republican or unaffiliated conservative, or garden variety American, would recognize, and would actively oppose with all available tools.

How much $$$ did this cost their Russian backers?

Exactly what I wondered. Or she could get her Trump "Gold" card for 1 million+ dollars after she was cleared for re-entry. It's all such a money making gimmick.

Yet ANOTHER item to add to the "must-do" list for Jan 22nd: eject all the foreign agents to whom TrumpCo gave visas. Maybe even denaturalize some, like Musk and the Murdochs.

There’s a part of me that thinks Felon Trump knows nothing of this stuff. His handlers tell him something. He nods, and then they go about seeing that things happen. Another part of me says he has knowledge of what is going on and okays it because it’s part of his retribution on all enemies, perceived or real. Then there is another part of me that is looking for a drink so my head doesn’t explode and this stuff makes sense. Somebody make it stop!

I wonder what the Trump administration would have done if Chen and family were Chicano? Send Bovino to ship them back to Canada? And I'm beginning to believe the theory that Putin has the Epstein files. How else to explain that Trump is his bitch?

"The idea that the Felonious Oath-Breaker's ]Maladministration] would assist the foreign founders of an illegally funded media outlet aimed at reaching American audiences with Russian propaganda might seem outlandish."

No, not really.

It seems very much on-brand for the Trump administration to assist the foreign founders of an illegally funded media outlet aimed at reaching American audiences with Russian propaganda -- even while the administration claims to have a zero-tolerance policy on alien criminals AND sets about to punish anyone who even investigated the possibility that Russia might be helping Trump.

Trumpism is built on hypocrisy and moral poverty.

Combine this news with Trump believing Putin’s lies about Ukraine and then tell me you’re surprised. This timeline is absolutely insane. Hal, why haven’t I leapt yet?!

Don’t waste too much sympathy on Pool, Rubin, etc. They were being paid outlandish sums from Tenet Media and should have been more suspicious.

Actually, I think *all* influencers expect to make outlandish amounts of money. It’s the top career choice for a generation!

What have we come to?

According to the NYT:

“Flush with Russian cash, Tenet certainly compensated some of its influencers well. It paid at least $8.7 million to the top three influencers, who were not named but who appear to be Mr. Rubin, Mr. Pool and Mr. Johnson based on details in the indictment, such as the number of followers on social media.”

I always turn back to Harlan Ellison when it comes to ignorami like all the MAGA primping and preening squawking heads:

"You are entitled to your informed opinion. No one is entitled to be ignorant." (Easily in my top 20 list of favorite quotes; and G-dess only knows how much I love me some quotes.)

I’d be more shocked if they didn’t try to pull off a stunt like this. Seriously, this whole Venezuelan drug war is a farce! We kill migrants suspected of trafficking drugs, while pardoning the KINGPINS. And this makes America safe how?

First, we start firing Hellfire missiles to kill some possible migrant fisherman trafficking cocaine, not to America, but to Europe. And the evidence for such barbarism: CLASSIFIED!

So let me get this straight! Trump has forced NATO to pay their fair share for their security, while no longer willing to provide any military aid to any of our allies except Israel; making NATO and other security partners nothing more than transactional allies; if that!

Furthermore, Trump apparently cares so much about the European’s, that he decided the US will move an entire Carrier Group, and more fire power than we’ve ever exerted over the region, costing $8.7 million a day for the USS Gerald Ford to operate, and approximately $150k per Hellfire missile to help the Europeans in our drug war?

And to add insult to injury, Trump has been providing pardons to actual drug KINGPINS. He pardoned Ross Ulbricht of Silk Road fame and then had the audacity to pardon Juan Orlando Hernández, former president of Honduras on a 45 year prison sentence after spearheading a trafficking ring that brought of 400 tons of cocaine to the US.

Moreover, the DOJ and and international task-force spent years and tens of millions investigating and prosecuting Hernandez; all for naught, since a corrupt and depraved president with the stroke of an “auto-pen”, could throw years and tens of millions down the drain.

On the bright side though, he did manage to kill over 104 suspected drug trafficking migrants, so allowing foreigners suspected of spying for Russia to keep their Visas actually makes complete sense! /s

And we’re going to bomb Iran again.

Maybe this Venezuelan war is Trump’s feeble attempt at showing how tough he is. So he can show Putin and Netanyahu how strong he is.

It’s all a bit much. I’m sick unto death of the posturing tough guy act. It’s just murder on the high seas- and now the docks.

I hope that this administration — like all fascist/authoritarian regimes — fails through infighting, intellectual rot, and the very same human tendencies they are manipulating to provoke anxiety and social discord. The best we can do — aside from the brave judges who are upholding the law at state and regional levels — is stay connected, stay honest, and stand up for what is right. Thanks for your part in this fight for the TRUE American way. Watch Ken Burns’ “the American Revolution” if you need bracing reality — what all our fights have been about until now! Those people went through Hell to create this country and in later generations to keep it honest. God help us!
