Im so sick of "I'm just asking questions" crowd.... Rogan follows the money and fame... by mid summer he'll either be full back on the trump train... as long he gets some of Strumps latest crypto schemes or he'll be all out.... depends on which way the is blowing for Joe..... I honestly don't think he's committed to any particular ideology....

Unless it's the ideology of Jo$ Rog$n !

Doesn’t Rogan frequently use the “I’m just asking questions / what do I know?” cover?

I have looked (maybe not exhaustively), but I do not see *what* these 3 are accused of leaking. It even what kind of thing. Does any one know? Based on Carlson, I suppose it is Iran related.

The leak allegations are really vague right now, but the main one is this leaked Panama war plan (https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/national-security/trump-white-house-asked-us-military-develop-options-panama-canal-offic-rcna195994)

Thank you. So, basically, something they have already talked about publicly (although it is good to know if there are actual actions being taken to prepare for the crazy that has been thrown out casually in speeches.)

A few comments….

1) WS’s summary of the two ways to look at the Hegseth drama, both of which point to either Hegseth’s incompetence or his marginalization, seems accurate to me. It reminds me of all of the attempt to downplay the Signal scandal. Every one of those attempts made the Trumplicants look even worse.

2) I don’t think the problem is that people like Rogan host ignoramuses. It’s that he treats their opinions with seemingly such deep respect like they have anything worthwhile to say. And Murray’s point about people claiming to be something they are not until they are challenged reminds me of the times that I have heard Hannity say that “I’m not a journalist, I’m a talk-show host” apparently as a get-out-of-jail-free kind of statement. “You can’t expect me to tell the truth, I’m not a journalist, I’m a talk-show host.”

3) According to the linked-to article, the Dark Tetrad is composed of the following characteristics: narcissism, machiavellianism, psychopathy, sadism. If only I could think of one person who embodies all of these traits.

I've been wondering all along why this doesn't get more attention. There's an entire contingent of right wing punditry that sounds indistinguishable from the far left, and has been around way longer. Does name Candace Owens ring a bell? She's of the OG Jew-hating club, as it existed before it was crashed by liberal college students. Her YouTube channel has 4.2 million subscribers.

All the while people just sit on their duffs & do nothing. Oops, drinking & eating junk food isn't nothing, I guess. Fat America, ready to take on Canada! Greenland! The Panama canal!!!

I do think Peterson has a point in terms of the dark triad characteristics of Trump and his cabinet and other leaders charming and harming the American people. It is quite an education when one comes to understand that people like that are very sick and heartless though they look and act like regular people. They can be very disarming, funny, charming, compelling, charismatic..... all in manipulative evil.

4% of the population are psychopaths? Even if we extend that to sociopaths, that’s about 12-14 million people.

Now, 12-14 million narcissistic IDIOTS I can believe.
