This is about building the infrastructure and cultural antagonisms needed to overthrow the constitutional order and replace it with an authoritarian regime. (Or dictatorship, or fascist, or gangster -- take your pick; all these terms are all just different names for the same elephant.)

Yet I fear that many more eggs will have to be broken, namely big hits to their 401Ks, the arrest of a relative or friend, or nuclear war, before my dumb, wayward loved ones see the light and acknowledge they've been conned by Trump and wrongheaded in their understanding of what makes America great.
Can someone please clarify something for me: As I understand it, if a state policeman shoots you to death for no legitimate reason, your family could file a civil suit against that policeman and the state; but that if a federal agent shoots you to death for no legitimate reason, you cannot file a civil suit against that agent and the federal government. Is that correct? That your civil rights are protected against a state's actions, but not against the federal government *unless the federal government chooses to make it so in your particular case*???
