The immigration reform deal they negotiated has so much of what Republicans claim to want that the only way they can criticize it is by making things up.
They really are too stupid to realize that if they pass it, they get credit for fixing the border problem. These people really are monumental imbeciles.

Leave it to GOP to snatch a defeat from the jaws of victory. Immigration was a potentially winning issue for them. This not only pretty much defangs the issue for the Ds, it turns it against the Rs, as it highlights that the R's "crisis" was more about political posturing & performance and pandering to their Dear Leader than policy for America. Heck, even the border patrol union was for this.
I just hope they can be held to account for this. The malfeasance is so breathtaking and the lies are so obvious (thank you to Linda Chavez for parsing them out). This fever has got to break /sometime/.
