I’m curious how Mike Walsh got Jeffrey Goldberg’s number to add him to the Signal app. From what I’ve heard, Walsh wasn’t using his work or personal phone but a staffer’s phone—and she had Goldberg in her contacts. Could it be that all the users were leveraging their staffers’ phones (perhaps their ‘bag men’) to regularly use Signal and circumvent the requirements of the Presidential Records Act, which mandates the preservation of presidential records for government transparency and accountability?
Sadly, nothing will change until somebody dies because of their incompetence and arrogance and maybe not even then - maybe it has to be a lot of deaths. That's just the way it is.

Be sure this is by design and likely signal or other undocumented and insecure communication is being used so there is no record and accountability can be evaded. This is a top down policy. Why aren't the intelligence communities, FBI, DOJ, etc. demanding the devices (personal phones as well as governmental) of every one of those clowns in order to see what else they have been up to? This Admin is obviously not keeping records. Why doesn't some intrepid journalist FOIA the National Archives and do some calculating as to how much data has been recorded in the last two months compared to other administrations. Something tells me Trump's team has submitted far less documentation than would be usual.

And I hope the people commenting here had the same level of outrage when Hilary Clinton, as Secretary of State, had tens of thousands of messages and conversations on SEVERAL personal unsecured, non-encrypted devices (before she wiped them) as she traveled the world. It has been established that hers were penetrated by several foreign intelligence services.
It's certainly not good what happened with this Signal arrangement, but I don't see the same level of rage and I don't like to see these kinds of matters politicized. It was a bad mistake. But it was a mistake. Hilary's was deliberate, for her personal convenience.

Was NOT a blunder. Was meant to shield what happened a week earlier with Elon at the Pentagon. So Goldberg was correct that he was "set up."
