Jillian Michaels . . . had ChatGPT write an explanation of what the show would be about

If you are not capable of writing a brief summary of a show you are hosting (or whatever they are doing) on your own - why would I want to listen to you?

What was wrong with Joe Biden. He seemed to me to be one if our best Presidents. I know that people are listening to Fox, but wtf.

Are Americans really that crass? Or is it a species thing? I think God (if he/she exists) needs to wipe out the current crop, and start again from scratch. The human race just turns your stomach sometimes.

I disagree that the candidate needs to be white, the fascist were there during the Obama days.

Democrats

- Need to be more aggressive and not underestimate the stupidity of people.

- Reach out to alternative media ( podcast, streaming and whatever the heck else)

- Have a stronger center that allows for new blood to thrive .

- Bring out the claws and fangs the time for politeness has eroded.

Calling a little child with a nasty thing to do. If the repubs won't say anything about the damn press should ! Was the woman named Karen, by chance ?

Hmmm..., $500K, right? The Grifter in Chief approves. Small potatoes now, and room to grow the brand.

I feel a little more untethered from reality every time I read these missives from the far right fever swamps...

She is a bully pure and simple. They always pick on someone who can’t fight back. I truly feel sorry for her children.

A large part of the appeal of Trumpism has been that closeted racists and otherwise terrible people want to come out of the closet.

Say hello to your next Republican House Candidate from Minnesota

I must confess, this piece substantiates MY bias and disdain of "MAGA" and Trumpism.

I cannot fathom that MAGAs, for want of a better term, base their political positioning on facts, reality, or aspiration... because they don't... this is proven day in and day out.

Everything, I mean Everything, IMHO in their malign kit-bag of beliefs is demonstrably proven to be baseless with regard to facts, humanity, and reality.

For me it is clear that THE fundamental foundation of MAGAism is pure, unadulterated, and unabashed racism.

Trumpism really is it's own thing now, and the embrace of the alt-right and racism truly defines it as a different thing than the bastardized moniker of Republican they use now. It would be nice if they just abandoned Republican and just called it Trumpian or something more accurate.

When I was a child, I was taught to never use the "n" word, by my racist, white, but very classy grandmother.... because it was impolite. According to her only (white) trash used the "n" word in public. That apparently that has not changed.

I had a roommate in the military that had a wife he cheated on regularly. He brought this wife and child to our apartment to live. He was from W.V., not to stereotype, but he was probably the most racist guy I've ever met. He would walk around the complex with his kid in his arms and go 'see that there, that's a n-', as if he was training his kid to identify animals at the zoo. I left the apartment shortly after that. He was without a doubt, the definition of white trash.

And therein lies the heart of the problem. The racism was always there - just hidden. People love Trump because he has allowed them to celebrate their ugly thoughts out in the open.

You are 100% right.

"It's like liberation, we can say p*ssy and r*tard again" - a businessman Trump supporter on Xitter

rlritt's avatar

That's liberation? That's like Liberation day where Trump crippled our international trade. it's opposite world.

rlritt's avatar

You are 100% right. That racism has been there all along. Resentment that white people had to compete for jobs with black workers.

I grew up in GA and my classy grandmother, who was a super nice person (except for the racial bias) taught me the same. I went to college in MA to 'escape' this racism - and experienced it openly and unashamedly - to my astonishment. It was more segregated there than where I grew up, which was quite desegregated by the time I went to school. I worked in MI, WI, MO, OH, IL after college and saw it openly there, as well. So, I have no more illusions.

Oh my grandmother was from Nebraska and moved to Chicago in her 20's. Not southern at all. She didn't think she was racist.

Patricia McKeown's avatar

I lived in Chicago for forty years (Hyde Park and the Northside) and it was as racially segregated as much of the South, just not as obvious.

What a pig of a parent with her own child right there.
