Of course the toy builder who put chatgpt into their toy has no idea what it can or cannot do! Does anyone, even the model creators and curators? MSFT ran an experiment, maybe 5 years ago, where they released an ai-powered chatbot that got so spectacularly offensive to so many people so quickly that they had to unplug it. I’m sure that wasn’t thought through ahead of time, by the actual creators which is hella different than any normal joe throwing someone else’s ai into a toy or device or…
Anyway, the idea of ten plus ai toys piled on a bed as kid companions, wow! Or yikes.
People are way too paranoid about AI toys. Why, my niece’s new state of the art M3GAN doll is practically her new best friend.
