Orange Julius got tired of people telling him to be "intellectual" and "on message", so he brought in someone who would tell him how great he is, tell him he's winning in a landslide, and how he should keep doing what he's doing.

When he first took office, I saw a report that he got angry when people told him the *real* poll numbers and economic reports, etc, so they started telling him stuff that wouldn't make him mad (ie, lies). For four years, he thought he was super popular and everyone loved him and everything he did. Keep in mind that he has full-blown malignant narcissistic personality disorder (among other things, obvs), and actually believes he can, like, fix health care because he's Donald Trump (he decided he didn't want to, bkz it was too hard). His ability (and need) to piss people off and gin up controversy is really his only ability.

One thing that Trump didn't seem to get in the last election was that there were Republicans who voted R down ballot, but didn't vote for him. When he saw the other Republican candidates won in areas and he didn't, he assumed Dems were changing votes at the top. He should have asked himself, though, if we changed his votes, why wouldn't we change the down-ballot votes too?

I'm a bit confused about Kellyanne Conway's role. She just registered as a foreign agent representing Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk's foundation. It would seem to me that, given she is now a foreign agent, it would be inappropriate for her to be involved in a Presential campaign. But I guess not.

You gotta wonder where the big money boys are at this point in all this schlocky repeating of the same ole tactics when the opposition now is climbing ahead with the freshness of flowers and singing-out-loud vibes. He needs their help, but will they throw cash at a one tent carnival act with no new acts? They also gotta find worrisome their prime plum Elon who is making comments that are getting more out of pocket and more dipshit dour with each interview. Elon believes snorting guffaws is somehow a new, more intellectual way of communicating, in his special code of course, to be appreciated by only those who are on his special genius wave length.. When I watch him trying to carefully craft responses with special, etherial connotations to very simple questions, I keep waiting for the Twilight theme to come on and support his schtick.

titles and job descriptions are irrelevant with Trump. He has no discipline, no boundaries. He brainstorms and if he senses that someone goes along, he pulls them closer. If someone says something he like, they move further into the circle. But Trump world spins fast, and his attention span is short, so members of the inner circle can easily spin into a more distant orbit. Constant turmoil and instability or the natural conditions on an immature planet. Trump has gotten bored with some of the existing crew, so Lewandowski, Conway, and others may move into the core for a spell. Chaos will remain the natural state in the Trump universe.

It offers NOTHING to Americans except Trump’s rich buddies. Lewandowski is just another campaign re-tread. He’ll fit right in. The world has moved on.
