Please feel free to direct me to where this might have been covered in the past, but with the situation in the SOH since February, what steps are being taken by countries and US companies to pivot back to investments in renewables. (I thought I had heard that some US companies were making new investments in solar and wind this year.) I know the Trump admin has tried (and in some cases succeeded) in canceling some of Biden's investments, but the blockage of 20% of the world's oil flow seems to be yet another example of why diversification of our energy sources is important. What are you hearing?
Remember when the Republicans hated when the government picked winners and losers? When they hated when the government got into bed with companies using taxpayer money?

could it be that the prez is secretly a democratic socialist? (we know he's a prankster.) he does so much to help the dems, and then he went right to 'communists' when a few progressives got elected, as if to mask his true allegiance. he creates embarrassing, self-destructive optics at about five times the frequency as bush and cheney. he says himself that many are jokes.
one difference is our prankster is good enough at his secret plan that he doesn't need to bite the head off a bunny or shoot someone on fifth avenue. we take it as a certainty that someone who thinks nothing of double tapping 168 schoolgirls is absolutely capable of carrying out his original boast ... if he ever went outside anyplace but at a golf course.
elected officials are moving to constrain some of the worst of his pranks. it was their job to put themselves in position to do that; it's our job to shower them with post cards, phone calls and so forth to stiffen their resolve.
And notice that trump is now suddenly becoming somewhat supportive of Ukraine (Patriot missiles.) Are there hints that there might be a Ukrainian victory possibly coming, and is he setting up to take credit for that?
To be fair, this didn’t start with Trump. The most notable example is President Ronald Reagan’s “tear down this wall” speech. A politician, like the rooster, will also take credit for the sunrise if he thinks he can get people to believe it. The real problem is why people do—especially from such a shameless self-promoter and well-documented liar as Trump.
Way to pick nits. The point is politicians—all of them—take credit for things they have little to nothing to do with. Such is the case with Reagan and the fall of the Berlin Wall and ultimately the Soviet Union, and end of the Cold War.
I worked for Walmart the general rule is keep prices within 15 percent of the your nearest competitor. if it is higher the customer will get in the car and get the lower price otherwise they will pay the premium to avoid the inconvenience of going and getting the lower price. One other thing if you are found to have not properly reported and have it been documented a failure to comply with any law. The fine is extracted from the employees bonus check. finally the medical plan they offer is not fair the low cost one for 20 bucks a paycheck or 40 dollars a month has cap say your doctor charges a 100 bucks a visit that will allow three visits in a year the more expensive one is 72 dollars a paycheck or 144 a month witha 500 dollar cap so same situation you don't pay for the first 5 appointments then you are into your own pocket for future visists. they have a great match for 401k of 6% the drawback is that the cost of the 401k is usually greater than the earning you will get. that is all I have to report
I agree, who is “underwriting” the Freedom Fuel Network? I am a little surprised that Trump didn’t require a “MAGA member” card in order to by the Freedom Fuel gas. One of his son’s would sell the cards to the MAGA minions for, say, $50 each. Another good grift but at least the rubes would get something out of the $50, unlike the $TRUMP meme coin.
Remember when Trump hawked cans of Goya beans from the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office? Like he was the commercial announcer on Bowling for Dollars instead of president? Ah, sweet innocent times . . .
